Slow down and stick to the sides and very top. If you are running into a trail of fireballs? You are moving too fast or not wide enough. The first is the ability to double jump and dash in a very wide circle around the screen. General strategy: You need two skills here. But if you mess up you can “shout” away all the fireballs on the screen and buy yourself some time to reset. It doesn’t really matter for this fight since you will be winning legit. When the boss pauses, make sure you get some distance away from it because it is about to pounce. Perhaps the hardest boss initially, this giant fireball will track you aggressively spawning persistent fireballs behind it. Potentially you can farm the followers a bit here for cash, but there are quicker and easier ways to get the money you’ll want later on. Luckily you don’t need much time to get the job done. If you can’t get a Hokage, again a Barbarian and “shout” comes in handy, although this only buys you time.

In general it is safest to do damage when you are below the boss and it is flying down, so use this time wisely. This keeps you safe and lets you do consistent damage.īecause you are moving in circles, you should always be above or below the boss where its projectiles can’t hurt you. The technique you’ll want to develop here (and perfect for the third boss) is “hit back-dashing” in that you swing your sword once or twice and back-dash away. Hit the boss, retreat and lead it in a large circle to keep its children at bay. General Strategy: You will want to be working in a circular pattern here. With a Hokage you should be one-shotting them every time. The only way you’ll lose here is if you can’t do enough damage and the skulls gang up on you. The boss seems to get easier as you do damage, as it spits more fireballs in predictable patterns so you’ll take it down without too much trouble.Ī big skull, it will chase you around stopping periodically to release smaller version out and shoot large fireballs in a cross like pattern.

If you don’t want to track those runes down, simply “shout” as a barbarian when you reach the top and they’ll all go away. Don’t have either of these two abilities? Well you should fix that up. Don’t have the air dash? Well you could double jump as well. When the spiral attack comes? Start jumping up the side and then air-dash over the boss when you need to. In this position you’ll dodge most of the fireballs without even moving. You will want to hang out in the bottom left area noting the spikes in the very edge (you don’t need to go close to them). General Strategy: The first and easiest boss, but you may have some trouble if you are just starting out. Suggested class: Barbarian so that you can “shout” away its projectiles. You really only have two attacks to worry about here, so take the time to learn them well if you need it. Several old exploits were recently patched out so you have to fight these guys more legit.Ī big eye, it’ll just sit there spitting fireballs and hoping that you don’t stab it too many times.
